Do you believe?

As you approach Christmas through the Advent Season, ask yourself, “Do I believe?” This is the season we call Christmas, that is Christ’s Mass or Holy Communion. The time we celebrate the birth of Christ.

Christ, the Son of God.

First, do you believe there is a God?

If yes, proceed. In not, move on to something else.

Second, do you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

If yes, proceed. In not, move on to something else.

If you do in fact believe that Jesus is the Son of God, then you must accept His teachings. For instance, “No one comes to the Father, except through Me.” And, “There is but one way into the Kingdom of Heaven.” As Christians, we know what provision Christ has made for us. For those of other, or no religion, we know not what provision He has made, or indeed if there is a provision. That really is not our concern. Unlike Allah, God is rational and just, we must leave it at that.

So, if there is this Einbahnstrasse (One Way Street in German), how are you going to get where you want to go? HINT: Follow the signs!

Where do you think you should be on Sunday morning Getting some good and well needed sleep? Or, perhaps you might consider planning ahead, go to sleep and wake up Sunday in time for church.
